Small Systems is an application software development firm started in August 1976. We have written custom programs for a variety of industries – wholesale distribution, manufacturing, benefits administrators, government, law enforcement, and others.

Since its inception, Small Systems has specialized in custom written wholesale distribution order processing, inventory control and accounting applications. Our product offering includes the Supplier, a full featured distribution software package. This application has been tailored to work in a variety of wholesale and retail operations - industrial, dental, mail order, Internet, sporting goods, heavy equipment, books and records, food, forms and more. We have also installed our Supplier system in the manufacturing environment.

Throughout our twenty-five years in business we have developed custom applications to fit businesses that needed to automate but couldn’t fit into a standard package. Our background of system development and tailoring has allowed us to provide solutions that meet the needs of unique environments. This has lead to the development of applications using computer telephony, systems integration and a variety of communications environments.

Customer support is something in which we take great pride. We are available when you need us – through telephone calls as well as on-line, dial-in support. With Small Systems, you don’t have to worry about being put on hold while your employees are waiting for an answer. You typically speak with your support analyst on the first call. We respond in minutes rather than hours.

We offer monthly software maintenance contracts! However, it has long been our philosophy to only charge for work we perform. As enhancements are made to our package applications, they are made available on a customer by customer basis.

To round out our product offerings, we provide customized training and support of all our software solutions. Training is done on-site without the hassle of having to send your personnel out of the office and away from their routine to get trained. We have found that the learning curve is significantly decreased and training retention increased if done on-site using your information rather in a class room, “what-if” type of environment.

With a combined seventy plus years in the data processing industry, we have been exposed to a wide variety of environment and situations. We are constantly researching new products and tools available on the market. This gives us the foundation upon which to provide solid systems consulting.
